Wicks Surf shop first opened its doors in September 1975. It is the original “independently” owned surf shop on the Northern Beaches, and has a great tradition of being a “core” surf store specialising in Surfboards, Wetsuits, Surf Hardware and Accessories.

The store is located directly opposite the beautiful Collaroy beach. The beach responsible for kick starting many an amature and professional surfing career!

The store is and always has been locally owned and operated. This ensures our customers the best quality advice, and service.
Steve “Slackey” Ross, co founder with Anthony “Wick” Hardwick has worked the floor from day 1, with 37 years surf industry knowledge.
Peter “Spud” Thomson, worked with Steve when he was a grommet and is the current owner of the store. Spud has 35 years surf retail experience under his belt.
Brook “Chook” Watson is the newest edition to the Wicks operation, but in saying that has worked on the shop floor for over 16 years!
